There is virtually unobstructed wind across the lake and we have exclusive use of the water. The clubhouse has a raised sundeck offering a lovely place to relax with views over the lake and countryside.
We are Royal Yachting Association affiliated and an accredited training centre.

• Changing facilities, showers, lockers and galley access are always available.
• ​The clubhouse has a bar this open most weeks.
• The clubhouse has a defibrillator and  Wi-Fi to help stay in contact.
• The clubhouse has ramp access and facilities for the disabled.
• Most of our members have their own boats but we also have a good range of club dinghies.

• Social sailing Saturdays run during the summer months. These are ideal for those wishing to extend their experience in the knowledge that there is a safety boat on call and experienced members on hand.
• Regular events include: racing every Sunday, improvers sessions every Tuesday, racing on Wednesday and Friday evenings, and racing for youth members during the summer months.
• ​Daily, weekly, monthly, annual and special activities can be viewed on our Calendar.

The club has a number of kayaks for hire at a small cost

Members use the club in a variety of ways – some simply walk around the lake observing birds and nature over changing seasons, others use the club grounds for a 'day out' for a picnic or barbeque.

• There is a small Fishing section that offers quality fishing on a private lake. 
  
• As part of an ongoing programme, the lake is regularly re-stocked to supplement and improve the existing population.
