A very warm welcome to Haversham Sailing Club – Introduction
The Club is fortunate to own the beautiful Haversham Lake, the clubhouse and surrounding land. Members are able to sail every day of the year. Dinghy berths are available around the clubhouse and the Club has its own secure car park. Members may use the clubhouse facilities at any time and whether you are an experienced or novice sailor you will receive the same warm welcome. Our Youth and Buccaneers programme is designed specifically for those under 19.
If you are a new or prospective member we look forward to meeting you at the Club. We pride ourselves on being a friendly bunch so please feel free to ask questions about any aspect of membership. Sunday is the best day to find a variety of members to talk to or if you wish to email someone with specific responsibilities please use the Contacts page.
Sailing is an excellent all year round family sport and pastime providing wonderful opportunities to meet new challenges and work together to learn new skills. We encourage both young and old, novice and expert and men and women to compete together, either singly or in teams.
If you’re looking for a sailing club with great sailing and a wide range of facilities, you’ve found it!
Haversham Sailing Club is run by its members for its members. Sail on down!
Thanks so much for a really good Open; the weather was not the best, but you gave us excellent competitive racing in spite of that. The whole team was fabulous, so please pass my thanks on behalf of the competing sailors and the class, for the safety boat crews and for myself the galley staff who went out of their way to make a vegan welcome. Haversham SC is nice little club, in a lovely area, but above all it is your people, committed to race sailing and just being both professional AND lovely, that make it really special; thanks again. Everyone was just naturally friendly and relaxed; plus, I saw heart-warming club activities going on in the background. See you guys next year! Tony Bleasdale – Competitor and Supernova Class Association Race Programme Coordinator. Thank you Haversham SC, always love visiting your club, just so welcoming and friendly. Thanks again for a great day – Gavin Young.
