🛟 Safety Boat Helmsman’s Course
For members who already hold RYA Powerboat Level 2 and have completed several safety boat crew duties.  Become a qualified rescue boat driver and help lead club safety boat duties.

🔧 Powerboat Familiarisation & Skills Development Sessions
Ideal for members new to the rota or anyone wishing to build confidence or just refine their handling skills. These relaxed, practical sessions follow elements of the RYA Level 1 syllabus.  Sunday morning 1/2 day course

• Sunday 8th March
• Sunday 12th April
• Sunday 10th May
• Then second Sunday of each month (ongoing)

🕘 Time: 9:00am – 12:00 noon

Take the helm and help keep our waters safe by enrolling on a FREE RYA Powerboating Course or joining a skills development session – exclusive to club members.
 
We’re running a series of nationally recognised training opportunities this autumn, plus regular development sessions for those looking to build confidence afloat:

🛥 RYA Level 2 Powerboat Course
Open to all club members willing to undertake safety boat crew duties as part of the club rota working alongside a qualified rescue boat driver.

📅 Dates: (2 day course) Saturday 23rd May & Saturday 30th May
🕘 Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
 
🔧 Powerboat Instructor Course
This course is intended for team members with substantial experience and provides an opportunity to undertake RYA instructor qualification training while contributing to Club Development initiatives.  This course is delivered by an external RYA training team.

📅 Dates:

• Skills Assessment – Saturday 31st October
• Course (3 days) – Weekend of 28 – 29 November and Saturday 5 December.

🕘 Time: 9:00am – 12:00 noon
👥 Max 6 participants– booking required

✔ Gain practical experience with support from our friendly and experienced team
