Clubhouse Open
The clubhouse is open for all activities from Monday 19th July. This includes the changing rooms and showers. We are asking members to be considerate of others and to follow these guidelines

Guidelines
Do not come to the club if you are unwell.
All doors and windows must be kept open at all times.
Wear a face covering when moving around in the clubhouse.
Do not overcrowd areas.
No more than 6 people in the changing rooms at any one time.

How to Help
Use the spray and paper towels available in the clubhouse to wipe down surfaces. Make the cleaning job easier by keeping the clubhouse tidy. Take all personal possessions home. Take a self administered test at home before coming to the club. Wipe down club boats and equipment after use with the spray provided.

Before arriving at the club members/participants should:
  • be aware of COVID-19 symptoms and the need to self-assess before attending every sporting activity.
  • or other attendee reporting symptoms should not attend and are directed to follow NHS and PHE guidance on self-isolation – click to view.
  • be aware of any increased risk associated with taking part in sporting activity, based on the national governing body’s guidance and risk assessment.
  • comply with public health restrictions and avoid high-risk behaviour outside the sports setting to reduce the risk when they do attend.
  • continue to adhere to legal gathering limits before and after sporting activities, act responsibly and limit transmission risk wherever possible.

You must be responsible for your own safety.  Please use Facebook or the WhatsApp group to find out when other members are sailing so that you are not sailing alone.

PLEASE – Contact the Membership Secretary at [email protected] if you are not receiving your copy of Flotsam and Jetsam as this is our preferred method of issuing updates.

Keep gates locked at all times when only a few people on site.

MINIMISE SOCIAL CONTACT – HANDS, FACE, SPACE, DO NOT PUT THE NHS AT RISK.

THANK YOU – HSC Board of Directors
